The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission (ADC) has initiated an investigation into Milltech’s allegations of the dumping of hard chrome plated bars into the Australian market.
Milltech raised the concerns in late 2015 following a review of the viability of the local production of hard chrome plated bar. Sales volumes and profits have been declining for this product line due to low cost imports even though Milltech uses the latest technology.
We are not looking for subsidies or protection but want to ensure that we are competing on a level playing field with imports.
